Have you seen or heard the local publicity surrounding the new charity 777 based in Henfield?

777 has been created to help raise funds for two charities: CLIC Sargent and Henfield Leisure Centre .

Why? 

The founders Sam Bremner and Tracey Prescott have been profoundly moved by their nephew being diagnosed with leukaemia at the young age of 4, having witnessed the daily issues surrounding every parent in the same situation they decided they wanted to help as many parents and children as possible.

How?

Sam and Malcolm Lane will be running a marathon a day for 7 days at Henfield Leisure Centre, to help raise a minimum of £21,000 – 70% raised will go to CLIC Sergeant and 30% raised will go to Henfield Leisure Centre.  We will have 7 treadmills available for the entire week so we are now looking to fill the other 5 treadmills per day with teams of people or indeed any other individuals who would like to run a marathon for these two worthwhile causes.

Can you get together a team of up to 26 people who will run or walk at least a mile each?  We only ask that to take part you raise a minimum of £12 per mile to ensure we reach our target. 

When? 

The marathons are being run from Sunday ** March 2012 until ** March 2012 at Henfield Leisure Centre.

The Committee are working hard behind the scenes to make this a real success but we need the help and support of the local community and businesses to really make this happen.  To read more about the Committee and to read Ashton’s story so far please log on to www.777fundraising.co.uk

We need your support

How can you help?  Can you put a team together to run/walk at Henfield Leisure Centre?  If not are you able to put a poster up at work or in your car to raise local awareness?  Are you able to organise fund raising events within your company/local neighbourhood?  Are you able to sponsor one of the treadmills?  Can you donate a raffle prize? Can you bake cakes for us to sell throughout the week?  Can you make a cash donation?
